Great race IMO, especially the Red Bulls.

Max driving like a tit again. He’s definitely got the talent to be a future Champion, but not until he stops being stupid.
I did a proper LOL when Vettel over cooked it into T1.
Great race, but it’s a shame that the excitement can only come from safety cars.

Yeah, Max was poor. DR had the beating of him today it seems and his defence was pretty dubious at times against him even before the shunt.

Great race! Bad luck for Bottas, though.
The last few laps had me shouting at the TV.
Wonder how long Grosjean will have a seat? He is being overshadowed by Magnussen and managed to crash under the safety car. I'm not sure he has what it takes.

Re: F1 Thread
What I couldn't understand was why RB didn't ask him to let DR through. It seemed to me that DR would have been quicker. I think they missed a chance there to push for a possible podium, subject to SCs etc
It seemed an inevitable outcome given MVs "robust" defence in the early laps.
Re: F1 Thread
Marko was similarly protective of Vettel's "robust" style of driving. I guess he's hoping for lightning to strike twice.
Re: F1 Thread
Yep, really they should have a policy of letting them race once, but after that just let the faster car/driver through, to mitigate the risk.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 2:12 pmWhat I couldn't understand was why RB didn't ask him to let DR through. I did think their non-stop racing would end up in a collision...sometimes the teams don't help themselves.

Just wondered if people are finally coming round to my opinion of Grosjean yet?
Blaming LeClerc for stuffing it into the barrier during the safety car was just hilarious.

I enjoyed that race. I don't want Ferrari to win it this year!
