I know you've said that you don't watch YouTube much any more but this is probably one of the reasons people are asking you about reliability.

There's also been a couple of high mileage poorly maintained cars in the UK being shuffled through auctions with £30-40k estimates .

The fact that they are lit up like Xmas trees with numerous faults has got the internets knickers in a twist.

I'm unsure of who would run cars like that with no maintenance. Footballers, Drug Dealers .. ?

Not good. In terms of who would run cars like that, you do get people who buy a car, use it for a year, and dump it before it needs servicing. Next owner then doesn't get it service, does the same and after a few years you have a real mess.

Scary stuff for a premium high end manufacturer. Pantshittingly large bills without warranty though. On the plus side each time it fails he'll get a decent new McLaren as a loaner, so it's not all bad I suppose 😂

I watched the video. Feels like a bit of a set up or as a buyer he excels at not doing his homework on the car he is purchasing. If he had done any homework, he would know that 2012 can have issues and he needed to make sure he was buying a good car, not one with a poor history. I owned 3 12Cs and there was a huge difference in build quality between the 2012 and 2014.

Yes he can be ignored - he does it on purpose for the lolz. Quite annoying.

Well he wouldn’t be able to string out a series of videos if he bought a good car.
How about not having a sig at all?

“Hi guys, I’m...”

I think what you mean is, the premise of Hoovie’s videos is that he buys what is often the cheapest car of whatever type, in America, then shows is what’s wrong/right with it, and maybe fixes the problems
