Depending what happens with the Panamera (and with one eye on 50 pagers ;) )

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/ ... 299307352/

Edit - Although from what I recall seeing, PCP with local dealer is about the same.

I don't think you'll get much static about wanting an M3, Mark.

Mileage? I’d be going for 12k to be safe.

£25k'ish over 3 years for a brand new M3. Haven't looked to see how this compares to the depreciation on one but there are worse ways to spend £25k for sure.
Left over crest; tightens.

That doesn't sound too bad in the scheme of things?

Spending £600-£700 a month on a car would have me checking to see lease costs on a 911 though.
Cheers,

Mike.

Just found it. It was 0 down, 0% APR and £669 pcm, but for an M4.

Sounds interesting but would be surprised if it allows 12k year. Link please?

it sounds ok until you realise that for £35k you could just buy a nice low mileage one.

in the world of internet comparisons, I think this is the most “apples for apples” comparison there has ever been!

I don't see the problem when 3 years rental is £25k?

It was with Specialist Cars BMW - it appears to have been a deal that expired last weekend. They are still doing a 0% on all 4 series (inc M4 coupe/cab). Maybe wait and see what they offer this weekend!?

For sure. I never said it was the best way to spend 25k, just that there are worse ways :)

I'm pondering a new lease now. Here are a couple I've spotted:

Audi A4 Avant Black Edition 272 quattro tiptronic; 3+35, 8k miles at £389.86 per month: https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/ ... 307033200/

Volvo S90 D4 Inscription geartronic (tempting because the interiors are lovely, but I'd prefer a V90); 3+35, 10k miles at £295.95 per month: https://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts. ... -86249.htm

I've only enquired about the A4 so far.

I'd be tempted by that Volvo deal Jobbo. The V90 is more appealing but either way it's going to be a nicer place to be than the Audi.

The D4 is quite a small engine in quite a big car though.
An absolute unit

The Audi's quite a nice thing to be in too. Less of a Swedish lounge but it's decently specced and comes with my favourite alcantara trim. And it has an engine which I know and like from my Allroad, but weighs 200kg less.
