They all seem to have the oddly large bonnet gap, a quick Google confirms. It was more the front wing / bumper join that struck me.

First decent pic from the internets I could find:

I thought the bonnet wasn't latched shut, but it wouldn't line up with the wings if it sat lower.

A mate of mine used to own a B7 RS4 and was aghast that I hadn't fitted spacers to mine to get the wheels flush in the arches.

Is he right? It would make it sit so nicely.

My M3 has spacers - it does look a million times better for it.

My favourite part of the Audi is the awesome arch / rim combo. It really would look better with spacers, wouldn't it.

But then I'd be buying spacers at the age of 44

Pretend they improve the handling and buy them to keep the sprog safe.

Woah hang on there - I can buy crap I don't need if I mentally self-sell it as being safety-related?

This changes everything!

Thanks Marv - it's so out-dated and old-school nowadays that it suits me more and more.

Welcome to fatherhood. Short of stockpiling nuclear weapons you can justify any purchase with some spurious argument about sprog safety/health and wellbeing/mental and physical development. If challenged there is *always* a supporting post/article to be found online.

For what it’s worth JL, I think your car looks brilliant! 8-)

No-one would say it has anything near 200k + km on it.

Would definitely look better with some spacers.

And about 15mm lower....

Minor update that will please SundayJumper - I finally pulled my finger out and ordered a BMW code thingy. Vape shop owner mate has one, but he's having some personal and car problems, so don't want to be disturbing him too much ATM.

£20 is fine too - I used to not even quibble about putting that much on takeaway  think this is a better spend.
