But we started early in the morning, and the Evora's headlights failed. I didnt want to let everyone down so I kept going in the pitch darkness, narowly avoiding potholes, verges and oncoming traffic.
Eventually i pulled into a barn, pulled the doors closed, and desperately scoured the footwells- where I eventually found the left indicator stalk. I was able to push this back in, and the lights came on.
Much air-punching - i opened the barn door, but...... flat battery. No hill, and no-one had any jump leads.
I woke up at about 04:00 with The Fear.
Didnt even have any cheese or alcohol last night. (Maybe thay is why?).
