Wildlife in the garden - sometimes not all it’s cracked up to be
All very pleasant but what the hell am I supposed to do with half a baby deer that some other animal has left on show in our garden?
Do I have to bury the damn thing? I don’t feel like I can bag it and put it in the wheelie bin. Well, not until the night before bin day anyway.
Picture omitted as it’s actually a bit grim.

Garden waste bin. Hide it under grass clippings - possibly not so easy in January.

Worth a phone call to local recycling centre? Or just bag it up and shot it in the non-recyclable skip?JonMad wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 10:04 am All very pleasant but what the hell am I supposed to do with half a baby deer that some other animal has left on show in our garden?

Ah, we don’t have one of those. I take tree clippings to the local tip. It’s too busy to sneak in a dead body I think!

Just lob it up the mountain or in the forest .
The badgers, foxes, cats etc will demolish it in a day.
The local wildlife could do with that as it's getting cold.

Or just leave it, whatever brought it there will be back for it. I imagine it was a fox that got spooked and is waiting to come back under cover of darkness.

I've moved it out of sight so yeah, maybe it'll be all gone by the time it's bin day.

I'm not so sure that's a good idea.
What if it's a migrant that was halfway through eating it and then got the urge to go off and rape something?. It might return under the cover of darkness and stab you.
I'd just dump it in a hedge somewhere.

Needs pics.
Bag it, take to the dump.

Leave it for a couple of days, if not gone then bag it and dump in nearby (non-dogging) woods..
Cheers,

Some people will do anything to make a buck...
How about not having a sig at all?

Maybe it's a Stag Do prank that went too far?
