Randomness
Re: Randomness
So I was sorting through some photos earlier, and I found this in with some other random pictures - I think it's from a Karting gathering a long time ago. The question is, why was Si photoshopped into this?

He's jealous of how much of a handsome bugger Duncs is, so decided to super impose himself into the photo?Matty wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 12:23 am So I was sorting through some photos earlier, and I found this in with some other random pictures - I think it's from a Karting gathering a long time ago. That was the one with the pink go kart, right?

That’s the karting at the place near Daventry isn’t it? The one Dan organised?
Since I can see my grey 5-series I was definitely there

That's not the pink cart one. I think it is Daventry.
I love how I'm obviously explaining the finer points of my solid midfield placing (and perhaps something about tyres) to Muki, who is marvelling at my expertise and Rev, who is looking at me like he's trying to work out what I've been smoking.

Ah yes, that's the one - I was wondering who the orange Exige belonged to, and it was Davids.Jobbo wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 6:41 am That’s the karting at the place near Daventry isn’t it? The one Dan organised?

It's also the event that, until then, I thought I at least knew the fundamentals of Karting, until I got lapped by Dan and his brother....

I thought the Exige was Duncs, but actually I think he had a VXR8 for this meet?Matty wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 2:33 pmAh yes, that's the one - I was wondering who the orange Exige belonged to, and it was Davids.Jobbo wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 6:41 am That’s the karting at the place near Daventry isn’t it? I had a big off after colliding with Exiges. I'd built up a load of momentum coming through the twiddly bits before the back straight and he lifted or braked on the apex so I clipped his back end and went spinning off into the weeds and had to be helped out by 2 burly men

S1 Exige was Davids, S2 Exige was Duncs. Both orange! VXR8 was mine.

I remember your VXR8 sounding great on the way from the pub to the circuit. When was it? I assume I was in the Saab but can't really remember.Matty wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 2:49 pm S1 Exige was Davids, S2 Exige was Duncs. Both orange! VXR8 was mine.

13th of October 2012! I knew it was a while back, but still...no idea it was that long ago.Jimmy Choo wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 3:10 pmI remember your VXR8 sounding great on the way from the pub to the circuit. When was it? I was wondering how it could be so recent that I had my second 545i! But that's over 6 years ago. Blimey.

OK, no idea what car I was driving in October 2012. I think I had a series of hire cars waiting for my company car to be delivered as it was just after we moved back to the UK from Amsterdam.
