I used to park far away in all my cars to avoid door knocks, but I reckon in most supermarket car parks you'd struggle to get in it. I've yet to risk it.
F-pace 109cm
Evora 127cm

We need to know the door length on an S-Class and a Stagea. :?
Coupes do have far longer doors than 4/5 door cars. The E92 has long doors, but being frameless you can put the windows down when in tight spots and get in/out far easier.

Can't decide whether I want Matty to take sub-Beany standard photos just so I've seen some pics :?

Rich, try not to put people off posting about cars eh, such posts are rare enough as it is ;)

Any time you get bored of opening the doors Matty, I'll swap you my Caterham with its Lambo doors for a week 😎

I need measurements man goddamit.

I dont think dropping the glass on the Evora would make it any easier?

Megane: 141cm. (That explains why car parks are an arse, particularly trying to get the kids in the back)
Left over crest; tightens.

its a slippery slope between nice posting about cars and Beany posting the same update about Mondeo headunits on nine different threads though.

the glass seems fairly upright and small on the Evora, so maybe it wouldn’t be as useful (especially with the sills too) - but on the e92 it makes a massive difference. The doors are 138cm from a quick search (it’s cold and wet outside).

Actually, when I had the E46, in tight car parks, I'd open the windows with the key and and post the kids through the windows. They thought it was great fun. Sadly, I'm not nimble enough to do it myself.

That's probably why he seems to be struggling in this picture.

So who used to post the kids through the window then? Just random passers-by? Most odd.
