So we have been in negotiation with the place we are renting a cottage off for the last few weeks, trying to get a 3rd dog.

Upon finally agreeing, over many emails and messages the owner pops up with......

Obviously all dogs will be confined to the boot room and tiled kitchen at all times.

Are you serious, so it's not dog friendly, it's a place to pop a dog in a crate for a week essentially. No mention in T+Cs, no mention by Cottages and Castles who are the shower of turds we've sadly had to go through since booking in March, and no mention in any literature or correspondence at all. Simply not upstairs and not on furniture.

So, sleeps 10, in Scotland, dog friendly for a week over Christmas, that should be easy to find

If we don't get a full refund quickly i'll break in and shit on every carpet till they do.

Every dog friendly place we have stayed has asked for the dog to be confined only when we are not in the house. I’m not leaving the dog in a separate room for a week, it’s not fair on the dog.

No matter what the terms say, my dogs go where's best for me & them and should the worst happen then I'll pay for any damage. To me, a dog friendly rental is one that doesn't have white carpets.

Logic has pushed apart the firmly closed doors of silliness and the initial rules we booked the place under have been put back !!

I now fully expect Flash to randomly decide to eat the sofa.
