I was pretty bored with AC games, but this one is pretty epic! There is so much to do/explore and the story line is interesting with lots of complex action/responses.
The sailing is as good as Black Flag, battles satisfying and the scenery/graphics are stunning! The odd recollection from history lessons at school means many of the names and locations add to the immersion.
I’ve not had any glitches after ~40hrs playing (I’m lvl 32 out of 50) and have probably explored ~50% of the map, and there’s still plenty of stuff to do even in the areas I’ve already been to.
