AKA, the Scottish contingent.
I'm travelling up to Port Apin early on a Friday morning so expect to be around Glasgow way by about 10:00 am.
Anything interesting to do for 3 or 4 hours with a dog in tow?
Nice parks, open spaces or dog friendly days out things?
I initially planned to carry on to Fort William but ive never really looked at anything around Glasgow and we can do Fort William later in the week.

Kelvingrove Park or Rouken Glen Park are both decent ways to kill a few hours with a dog but weather may not be your friend. I know the East coast batter though sorry I cannot offer more.
Re: FAO Barbarian Hoardes
Aye there's a few nice parks around the west end but chances are it'll be freezing when you get here. If you go to Kelvingrove park there's a bunch of nice pubs and cafes in the area so there's bound to be somewhere dog friendly.
An absolute unit
Re: FAO Barbarian Hoardes
Kelvingrov Park is a good shout. Lots of space at a few run free locations around too - I have used the one at Hardgate a couple of times.
You are obviously close to Loch Lomond : nice place to be in general, and the pub at the end of the road that runs up the East side (at Balmaha) is far from flash, but dog friendly.
