Mines tucked up for winter now as no time to ride it which is a shame as there's some beautiful scenery out there atm.

Wish I lived somewhere warmer, not maybe as warm as JL tho. :D

I reckon I can use the bike 7 months of the year here, of course totally giving up in the summer unless it's just a sparrow-fart blast before the sun kills you instantly.

It's still mild and mainly dry. Get out on it, you tart.

Mainly dry but covered in leaves. It's not exactly much fun other than pootling about with no traction :)

Plus I'm having xmas overload at work so no sneaking off. :)

Christ, just looked back through this thread and realised it's been three months since I got my license. Still haven't bought anything .

Unlikely to get anything until next year now, life sure comes at you fast .

10,000kms in for years is better than a lot manage. I've had my Tracer since May'17 and it's done 7500+ miles. I don't have as many toys as you mind you. :D

Sports bikes make decent touring bikes IMO, effortless ground covering ability. Avoiding speeding tickets bring the main issue..

I’ve just bought these bad boys because the soles are flapping off my 20 year old Alpinestars boots.

ST Goretex. I’m sick of having cold, wet toes.

Cold, wet feet are an instant shortcut to misery. My Sidi Adventure 2s were a bloody godsend on my Norway trip. My Vortices mit toe vents in Japan were fucking awful.

I've got a chap from All Year Biker franchise coming to my house to clean and ACF50 my R1200RT next week - seemed like a good idea since I ride all year.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

Just had a fairly epic weekend - two mates of mine (both with S1000RRs) and me headed a couple of hours away from Dubai and rode coast roads and mountains all day yesterday, in between a couple of nights at a balla-spec beach resort. None of it sucked at all 8-)
