Definitely Forte; Flewy's a massive fan of the brand.

Ta muchly gents. I shall get some purchasified.
Re: Your fleet running reports
I found my 996 weird to drive for a while, trying to find entry speed would end up as a "Richard Porter" I ended up adopting an old fashioned brake in straight line , stable entry , mid corner balance and the money shot was loads of grip firing out from mid corner. It's effective thoughSundayjumper wrote: Wed Oct 24, 2018 9:19 amThe factory pressures of 36/44 are way too high, but your Tuna ought to know that. Dropping 5psi all round will help, then take it from there.
Edit - that's for my C2, maybe your standard pressures are different.
I bet they are tricky to drive on the tight sprint/slalom things you do ?

Got my car back, can’t stay mad at it long for blowing up as it looks so good

Been told nothing major should go wrong on it till 200,000 miles now - let’s see. The clutch doesn’t feel too different despite being EXTREME (yes, that’s the actual name) and it doesn’t seem any quieter despite having anti rattle springs but then my old one wasn’t fucked, and managed to get the flywheel reskimmed.

Glad you got it back.
That bottom shiny bit looks a bit wonky on the passenger side? (could just be photo distortion).
Also lol at both the number plate position and the blanking it out but not the reflection.

Left over crest; tightens.
Re: Your fleet running reports
How had I never noticed the position of your front plate before. Just when I thought I couldn't hate your car more

All the silver stuff needs to be painted black.
Re: Your fleet running reports
It should all be made black, preferably as the results of a fire.
Re: Your fleet running reports
M5 looks good.
I can't muster up any hate for the Defender. It does go off-road, right?

Steering guard? Could be but then again it’s bolted right to the chassis rails so if it’s wonky then the chassis is bent.JonMad wrote: Wed Oct 24, 2018 2:04 pm Glad you got it back.

I had nowhere left to mount the plate, then I got to a day before the mot and found that it conveniently it fit inside the indentation for the fake air vent so just stuck it on with Velcro. Then noticed that the garage owner himself had a Defender with winch and just kept his number plate inside the windscreen - although doing that also annoyed me for the 6 months I did it as the windscreen vents couldn’t clear the fog around it plus the car park ANPR for my flat couldn’t read through the glass so I had to buzz security every time I went in or out.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Can’t change the colour but it came with a set of standard rims on winter tyres which have been in storage forever.
Defender needs to go back again as it seems like my sound system hasn’t been properly reconnected and I’ve been told to not to try to troubleshoot it myself - probably since I’m an idiot.
Didn’t get a chance to test it on the drive back as I changed my phone and couldn’t be bothered to set up the Bluetooth. Balls.

The colour wouldn't be my preference but I think the wheels (M6?) suit the Tourer.Rich B wrote: Wed Oct 24, 2018 6:38 pmis it wrong to say I think the m5 looks awful in that colour and on those wheels?
Re: Your fleet running reports
M5 looks great in that colour
but I’ve always been a fan of maroon / dark metallic red (think 993 turbo arena red).
