It certainly wasnt unfunny, but the snippets of genuine unscripted jokey banter/shenanigans shone through. And reminded me of TG. Far from a bad show though.

It's ace, one of the few TV shows that the family all enjoy.

There are obvious scripted / staged pieces but overall it is a great watch and has had us all in stiches.

My missus has developed a thing for Fred Sirieix, especially when he came out in budgie smugglers last night!!!!!
Your opinion is very important for me. Thank you please.

I know it was scripted but Gordon in the kitchen of his French restaurant was hilarious.

"I'm in a competition with Gino di Campo and Fred Sirieix"
"Gino di Campo? Is he a chef?"

I had genuinely never heard of Fred before watching this - but he seems alright for a French guy.

I can see them doing another short series after this, it’s brilliant.

Yeah, liked the first episode. Although I found it hard to believe they stayed in the motor home.

It's great although Fred seems a bit out of his depth not being a chef.

I'm going to play the Top Gear opening titles before watching this and just accept reality.

They’d be better than Flintoff and Paddy, Gordon has a cracking garage and Gino can prevent the whole show from becoming too classy to alienate the yoof.

Seriously, I think this could work, they could ditch star in a reasonably priced car to review a restaurant or pub you could take a drive out to, or show you how to cook something to square of a top days driving. Fred could cover the drink element.

Gordon is supposed to be handy behind the wheel so him and Harris could do the serious reviews and fast stuff.

Gino can be the sexy one to pull the ladies in. Gordon always set a decent lap time didn’t he? So I reckon he knows how to drive properly plus he’s done some Corse Clienti stuff and seems to be a regular round Fiorano so could do the more serious road tests with Monkey.

Mrs McSwede and I have just watched the three episodes this weekend and we thought it was great fun. Lots of laughing which is always good. Gino was way more funny than I expected him to be.

Hope they do some more.

I watched the first half of the first episode on ITV Hub and enjoyed it. But I paused it and it messed up and wouldn't restart, so I closed the app and tried again - whereupon it forced adverts upon me again and then wouldn't let me fast forward. So I gave up because I didn't want to watch the first half a second time.

A rare decent programme from ITV, messed up by their awful catch-up app. I'll have to torrent it or something.
