Want to watch "The Good Place" S3, but as the wife hasn't seen the first two yet, we're rushing through them. Still good TV second time round.

Just watched the first episode. Outstanding TV! It has a really strong visual theme and I'm looking forwards to watching more.
You did better than me, I didn’t have a clue what was going on and ditched it.
Watched the first series ages ago and liked it.
I had already read the books though.
Been waiting a long time for s2 though. Wonder if it has actually been commissioned
Sounds like it relies on having read the books. Quite a ballsy approach - no doubt it makes it better for that actual fans, but not a great way to get enough viewers to commission more series?

I've never read the book and really enjoyed American Gods. It becomes more clear what's happening as the show goes on but even when it's confusing it's worth watching.

Apparently the second series hasn't had an easy production and people are already starting to say it might be a bit shit, which is a shame.

Started watching Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations on Netflix last week, it's very good.

American gods was good up until they started adding new stuff rather than cutting from the original.

A discovery of witches is a steaming turd. I only persist to see if I can spot us in the background of one of the Oxford shots. It requires a dangerous level of inebriation to tolerate.

Last Leg restarted and is my favourite show still going strong. Chris O Dowd was fucking plastered Friday's episode, not unfunny though.

New Doctor Who, not a bad start.

I used to like The Last Leg but I've found Adam Hills less and less tolerable as time has gone on. His attempts at Jon Stewart-esque rants are cringeworthy.

Not familiar with Jon Stewart's rants* so I quite enjoy Hillsy's.

*have now watched a couple on YT, not bad, but I prefer John Oliver

John Oliver isn’t fit to lick the soles of Jon Stewart’s shoes.

Is John Oliver that annoying Ben Elton wannabe? If so he can suck a dead dog's cock.

Just finished the last series of Marvel's Iron Fist

The best bit was the bit "Several months later" part, just before the credits of the last episode.

I note there will not be a 3rd series.

Aye, it's shame that Iron Fist never really got going as I thought Danny himself is quite good. Hopefully he'll still appear in the other shows. Netflix seems to be losing it's way with the Marvel stuff just now. I wonder if they're more interested in the stuff they're working on with Mark Millar.

We’ve just finished Making a Murderer on Netflix, just in time for season 2 starting on Friday.

God damn, it made me angry.

While they stick to monster of the week it'll be good. New doctor will hopefully calm down a little and make the role her own rather than a prettier David Tennant.

Watching Doctor Who as a 7 year old mainly consisted of me hiding behind the sofa when the intro theme tune came on.

I was an avid fan during the Peter Davison and Colin Baker years (when I was 8 - 12), also reading loads of the books, but I hated Sylvester McCoy, especially when paired with Bonnie fucking Langford, and when he and Sophie Aldred were on it together it was far too lispy.

Of the recent Doctors, Matt Smith was good but I still couldn’t get back into it.

Norsemen
Norwegian Viking comedy on Netflix, in English.
Very enjoyable, lots of comments on political correctness mixed with occasional funny, brutal violence.
