Re: Trump
Whatever happened to US paranoia over anything to do with Russia and/or communism. Used to be you couldn't even say "red" innocently without someone getting in your face with a shotgun yelling "Fuck those Commie bastards!".Jobbo wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2026 3:05 pm If Trump is siding with Russia (and he is), he must be a communist.

It's a death cult, logic, causality, none of that matters.Swervin_Mervin wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2026 4:45 pmWhatever happened to US paranoia over anything to do with Russia and/or communism. That said, I bet a lot of them are wondering where their online friends are lately....
Edit: Apparently they're consistently identifying with the bad guys. Which Super Earth in helldivers unequivocally is.
(Helldivers is heavily inspired by Verhovens Starship Troopers, in almost every way, including the jingoistic patriotism used to cover up the extreme fascism, and corporate sponsored warmongering)
You're not supposed to tell them that they're going to be brain-washed cannon fodder! You're supposed to let them find that out once they've signed up.
Re: Trump
Feels to me like he’s still holding back. We’re finally seeing him put his Russia intentions into effect. He’s put the Middle East stuff on hold for the midterms so that’s left. Then there’s the question of will he step down at the end of his second term. Will he use a puppet. How much misinformation will he use to aid his cause.
I find his reactions to the Russian data centre attack very interesting. I wonder if those data centres are a key part of his election campaign.

How about not having a sig at all?

L'il donny has been owned by Russia since the eighties - this is well documented - and Putin is not a communist, not in the slightest !Swervin_Mervin wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2026 4:45 pmWhatever happened to US paranoia over anything to do with Russia and/or communism.Jobbo wrote: Wed Oct 14, 2026 3:05 pm If Trump is siding with Russia (and he is), he must be a communist.

Re: Trump
Yes, it does appear it was Trump, but posts on x like this hardly show support for Ukraine (06:48)

Musk is 100% on board with it, this is just some attempt at damage control as he realises it’s speeding up every government outside the US ditching his product.

Trump's going to call the mid-terms illegal in some way, use the insurrection act and carry on and fuck what the electorate say.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
