I know they produce all sorts of things other than the news which may or may not be particularly impartial - 6Music has a definite penchant for indie at the expense of hip-hop, for instance - but weather? I'm talking about the news.

There was a cracking picture that showed very similar weather reports from the BBC in the 80s and now, one was saying be aware of the sun and enjoy this heatwave, the current one was keep aware of elderly relatives and stay inside during the heat of the day.

Republicans have repeatedly not paid TSA agents, whilst continuing to pay ICE agents of course, so they aren’t exactly Trump’s greatest fans. We get occasional secondary checks for people with the same name as someone on the federal wanted list, or from a country that the US doesn’t like, but I’ve not heard of anyone being questioned due to memes etc. I mean, the FBI can’t even access iPhones of criminals and that’s with a warrant, so messages on here are probably not going to flag anything!

This is true but of the stories are to be believed, a person is flagged and stopped. They're asked to unlock their phones or computers and if they don't, then bye, bye, they're sent home...

At least they're only sent back home. And I think US citizens can't be denied access, they will only get their device seized.

I remember quite recently when the UK was getting hot on naughty Twitter posts, people were being asked to unlock their phones at the airport on arrival. It was entirely at their discretion whether or not to unlock the phone but if they didn't it was some silly prison sentence.
