We’re off to Dorset next week for a cheap caravan holiday near Weymouth. Any recommendations for must see/do attractions while we’re there? Got a few bits planned, wife wants to visit the new forest, got a guided boat trip booked to see the cliffs/coast from the sea, usual touristy stuff

I did find an experience thingy for the giggling goat co on “only farmers” app as a little gift for the wife- she’s animal mad, absolutely loves everything fluffy and you get to feed baby goats

There’s no dates for October there but they seem to add them in drips and drabs

Only farmers seemed to be a decent app to find that kind of thing around where you’re going, there was a few go pick your own flowers things around there and stuff like that

Been today. Lady running it is lovely, got one very happy wife. Hand fed Pygmy goats, that many also like ear scritches, golden guernseys (are these what you have @mito man?) sheep, donkeys and stood near some alpacas that are comfortable with your presence but that’s about it. Day ended with cake and coffee

For animal mad people it’s definitely worth it as it’ll only be about a 10 minute drive away from affpuddle.
