2. Mrs mik advised that she thought she’d kerbed one of her wheels this week. When I got home I asked which one? “The side wheel”. But apparently this wasn’t a stoopid thing to say - what was stoopid was to seek further clarity as Shirley all four are “side wheels”? But non - this was in fact me being a smartarse dick.

Saying stoopid things
1. I was away on business this week in JohnathonForeignerLand. Returned to the airport and the security bloke gave me a new clear plastic bag for my liquidities. I thanked him, and he said “have a good flight”, to which I replied “you too”.

Re: Saying stoopid things
I was on the phone to the MD if Fyffes bananas pitching the concept of a YouTube video which I want to film in one of their ripening rooms. I wanted to say it would be “low burden” or “low needs” from them, but said it would be “low effort”
which I had to very quickly correct

Re: Saying stoopid things
Miks reminds me of about 100 conversations with my missus (perimenopausal and just been diagnosed as ADHD!)
they usually go something like:
Me: do you know where X is?
her: in the front room next to the kitchen island.
M: the kitchens in the back of the house - which is it?
H: you know what i mean!
Though tbh - since the ADHD diagnosis, she’s been way more chilled about it and more believing that i’m not trying to get one up on her when i ask for clarity on her tired statements!!!
