And one of them is Monaco… Races will be a bit shorter next year too as the teams can’t afford to make a new chassis to fit a bigger fuel tank due to the cost cap.
Like F1 milk it while they can, surely we must be close to peaking and falling down the other side the hill soon.

I actually saw some value in the sprint race when I went to Silverstone quali earlier this year.

You get to see a sprint race and qualii on a Saturday, so at least you get to see some wheel to wheel racing.

With all the tech and simulation that can be done now, how can it take until race weekend before people realise there's no overtaking opportunities?!

That does rely on “quality racing” being high on the list of priorities to to the organisers.

I suspect that there are quite a few other factors that trump it these days…

I did start writing a post on here on Sunday that I was convinced that's the dullest race I've ever watched, but I thought I probably just forgot the other dull ones. Turns out I might well be right on that!

I know the organisers have said they're going to look at improving the layout, but I don't think there's any hope for it really.

PSA to say practice, quali and race are all a day earlier this week with practice Thursday, qualifying Friday, and race in Saturday. Apparently a national Remembrance Day on Sunday in Azerbaijan so it’s all moved forwards
