I thought we had a more general “eBay” moanng thread but I’m obviously stoopid and can’t find it.

Anyway - I bought a thing a week ago and the seller has taken this long to post it and sent me a photo of the package today as evidence of posting it. The address on the parcel is:

Sandhurst
Berkshire




Road ? House number ? Remind me how addresses work ???

I hope they are better than the US postal service. Sent a tracked parcel to the US recently and I managed to put the address as 113 Roadname instead of 133 Roadname. My error.

Everything else however - the name of the BUSINESS I sent it to, ZIP code etc was correct, and the fucking fannies sent it all the way back to me in the UK, as unable to deliver.

No, this was a photo of the printed label already attached to the parcel.

UPDATE: this morning he’s sent me a message saying “Glad it reached you” and a screenshot from the RM website of a totally different parcel delivered somewhere on the 9th - two days before he posted my one

This is really starting to sound like a scam he’s sent the parcel and now pretending it’s been delivered, except he’s doing everything possible to make sure you don’t get it

I don’t think it’s a scam, I think he’s just a bit of an idiot. The label he shared originally shows up as being in transit atm and should arrive Monday/Tuesday.

He did the original RM postage outside of eBay - hence the f’ed up address. He’s now added an Evri tracking number to my eBay order. Which does resolve to my proper address this time.
