Avengers: Infinity War SPOILER THREAD!

Aye but then I'd run the risk of living my life as joylessly as Nathan.
An absolute unit

Yes. There is literally no middle ground here at all.

I enjoy superhero comics so I'm not likely to give up because some guy on the internet thinks it's childish.
Some would say that a middle aged man living on his own with a bunch of bikes and other toys should grow up and settle down.

Thing is, I was not a comics fan at all. I liked the Nolan Batman movies (but as we all know, he's not really a SUPERhero), but the whole indestructible beings trying to kill other indestructible beings whilst causing devastation trope was not my thing at all.
However, the MCU is just great, engaging, spectacular story telling at its finest. I like the scripts, the acting and the action.
The fact that they are doing ridiculously implausible/impossible things is simply taken for granted.

Watched it tonight. Brilliant movie. I really hope Gemorrah (whatever) comes back; she was fit! As green chicks go (#rascist).
Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed how the characters (who even my wife likes), all manage to still be individuals dealing with shit in the own way, and yet come together into a movie that is only 2:30 long.
I was annoyed it wasn’t resolved in this one movie, and David has a point. Maybe a 3hr+ effort would’ve worked and, I would say, the build up would have deserved it.
I get people want to poke holes in movies (see Star Wars), but I enjoyed this as a near continuous action movie, where the previous 18 movies, although enjoyable in the own right, have already set the scene.
