Although I would have to only have Seiko written on the dial. The rest is like having GT3 RS written on a modded MR2 :?
Entirely fair - and it's all bollocks of course. I am pretty certain it's not an officially certified chronometer for example.....

Luckily age has impacted my eyesight to the point where I can barely read it - even with my reading glasses on. The only bit I can easily read is "Seiko". Hence I have pushed it to the back of my mind. :geek:

Weirdly if it was a full homage (fake) I wouldn't mind it so much.

Guess I will just have to find a way to live with your decision

Do we have any Swatch owners on here? Do you know Swatch offer a free battery replacement service?

I didn't but the battery on my wife's Swatch recently failed and if you return your dead battery watch to any Swatch shop they will replace the battery for free, original receipt not needed

On a related note I recently had a battery replaced in a Seiko at Timpsons and they offer free replacements in future. They give you a card which you show whenever the watch needs a new battery

I’ve got a swatch skin kicking around that I’ve not worn in a while as it’s dead. Might have to pop in next time I’m heading near one
