Same issue with the rigged elections. The ones he won were run under Democrat governments, and not rigged, but the one he lost, *when he was the president* was rigged.

So…. it’s only the republicans that rig elections, and they’re stunningly bad at it 🤣

Bear in mind that the ~30% of the US, by population weighted opinion polls, still support him.

Must be fucking weird to have near a third of your populace actively deny being part of civilised society.

It's also always worth reminding that he's only ever won an election when his opponent was a woman. He's never won against a man. He doesn't like being reminded of this 🤣 but it's important and as I've said many times before the US as a whole is MASSIVELY more misogynistic and racist than we Europeans can possibly imagine. We just see TV shows from NY & California, by far the most liberal parts of the US. There's a huuuuuuge area inbetween the coasts that's a bit.... let's say.... "insular". To say the least.

Overall, white males vote republican to a comfortable degree. And t'was ever thus. This is the base load and is quite constant.

Democrats win when black & minority voters turn out. This is why the whole aim of the current administration is to get rid of black & minority voters (discourage or block or worse). They'd also like to remove the vote from white females for the same reason.

They DGAF about trying to appeal to moderate-but-undecided white folk. Not worth it. Much easier to gaslight them into not voting at all.

And the left constantly falls for this. Arguing the toss about the People's Front of Judea / Judean People's Front, wringing their hands and refusing to vote for either, while the now-majority vote of buzz-cut six-fingered Alabama redneck sister-fcukers whoop about patriots and freedom and guns while they lose all their freedoms and benefits and donold personally pockets $2b++. It's. So. Fcuking. Stupid.

America is genuinely fcuked. Even if a midterm democratic landslide in November blocks both houses it will only slow this down slightly. People suck and have short memories and in 2028 they will elect another even worse bunch to finish the job.

On a related topic - timestamped vid looking at the funding for the 250th anniversary party.

"Despite his personal gains, Trump’s crypto ventures, including his tokens and coins, have plunged in value since sales began."

Of course - Trump just takes, he doesn't cause the tide to rise so everyone benefits.

I'm pretty sure the more accurate description is "rug pull"

Anyway, so what about conflicts of interest, it's not like he can be prosecuted.

Related, the Paulo Nutini song Iron Sky features bits of this… and is an amazing tune…
