Projector Clock

Post by mik »

Is a clock "tech"? :?

We've not had an alarm clock in the bedroom since this feature became available on your mobile and rendered them redundant. This was "quite some time ago".

I have however recently purchased a cheap auto-dimming alarm clock (with zero intent of ever using the alarm function) which has a projector that fires the time (and temperature) onto the ceiling. I thought it was just me delighted at how easy it is to read when you wake up during the night (barely need to move your head), but mrs mik expressed the same yesterday too.

Heartily recommended use of 18-ish of your hard-earned.

You need to use the trumpet technique, don't even need to open your eyes. I keep a mini one by the bed for these occasions.

The other night, the missus nudged me and said "what time is it?"
So I reached over, eyes closed, grabbed the trumpet and played a couple of notes.
My neighbour banged on the wall and yelled "Who's playing that trumpet at 2am in the morning?!?"
I put the trumpet back, and said: It's 2am.
