Nothing

I don’t use it, literally once or twice a month and often journeys where I could easily use the train. Combined with work being a bit rubbish recently, there’s simply no point having it sat their on the street depreciating.

What I read is that you only need a car for occasional, fun use? Something like an Elise, or a Caterham...... :geek: 8-)

I was about to suggest he converts his former tenants home into a garage for SJ’s overflow 🤣

I quite shudder to think of the insurance premium for a Caterham parked on the street in East London.

It'd pay for itself with the aura-farming he could do in his videos. Just an elise parked on an east london street, cos he's got skibidi rizz, yo.

(or whatever it is the kids are saying these days)

Sounds like he wants one of those new Honda N thingies actually

I've got a mate this would be perfect for, he's just scrapped his Evoque due to snapped chain, so he was asking about similar cars with a £10k budget. Will email him and ask....he's based in Leeds though and he's a lazy bastard so I'll try and convince him it's worth it.

I'll vouch for the condition - it's very nice.

I imagine there is basically no reference data - whether that makes it cheap or expensive I don't know. Hopefully the former!

There’s actually a huge amount of really nice cars in my neighbourhood, Rolls, Ferraris, Lambos, etc. Must be costing a fortune to insure because mine doubled when I moved here.

Sad day - I kerbed two of the wheels on the M5 in a multi-storey car park in Salisbury. I was even using the surround view cameras but the exit was simply too tight - it was an S shape between kerbs and I couldn’t avoid gently catching the right rear and left front. I hoped it’d just be the tyres which kissed but no, BMW make the rims very prominent.

Since I was basically forced to take out alloy wheel insurance when I bought it to get the deal I did, I can try that out. I don’t hold out much hope that it’ll do a good job on such complicated bicolour alloys but we’ll see.

Replacement tesla charger dispatched Thursday, arrived Friday, installed today (by me!). 7kwh added to the car. Even though I had connected it to wifi and updated its firmware I was a bit suprised when the car also pushed a firmware update to the charger.

All caused by someone not knowing how wide their car was as they passed a parked car and came waaaay over onto my side of the road :x
