Portfolio back to begining of march levels.
Crypto begining to go up. Get buying
Re: Dogecoin etc
On topic I've actually been buying Doge monthly for a while. Seems to be a fairly safe way to double your money. Currently under 8p for reference when revisiting at the next halving

Re: Dogecoin etc
Because it's now under $60k and it ain't done yet.
Could see today from a mile away. I called it yesterday lunchtime.

Anyone in for the SpaceX IPO?
Re: Dogecoin etc
I had a tickle via Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust after it tanked during covid, it's about 20% of the Trusts holdings now and probably a big contributor to its 100% return over the last 3 years.
They do seem to be more advanced than even developed countries tech so they are doing something right.
Re: Dogecoin etc
It's tempting for a quick flip but not worth gambling much, and from the way it's worded initial shares will be offered to those who want to invest the most, which I imagine will be well into 6 figure sums. I believe almost every tech IPO has eventually returned to its IPO price.
All that said minimum quantity of 7 with my broker, guess how many I've gone for and flipping within 30 days will result in a 60 day IPO ban

Re: Dogecoin etc
I've applied for the minimum £500. Worth a punt I reckon.
Re: Dogecoin etc
Seems a long term win but will pull back big time I reckon intially.
As for crypto, keep buying in monthly amounts

Isn't it valued at something like 100x revenue?
Nonetheless, I can see how it could perform long-term if Elon's wet dreams come true. It's also a vehicle for X investors to get their cash back. Musk created Grok under Xai, which then acquired X, before SpaceX acquired Xai. So basically X investors ended up being rolled up investors in SpaceX, and this IPO is their payday.

I think that it’ll probably bump about 20% on initial trading based on hype. And because the market is stoopid (see performance of Tesla).
Either that or Elon will dissolve the company this afternoon.

Well up nearly 5 percent. But also many other things as war ending muted.Carlos wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 5:34 pmI had a tickle via Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust after it tanked during covid, it's about 20% of the Trusts holdings now and probably a big contributor to its 100% return over the last 3 years.

BBC live reporter doesn’t appear to know how IPOs work. Anyway retail investors so far have raised $70B, and with whatever the banks have put in that must make Elon a trillionaire on paper.

News saying that as long as shares stay above $138 then he’s the world’s first trillionaire, which is totally mental.Mito Man wrote: Fri Jun 12, 2026 3:19 pm BBC live reporter doesn’t appear to know how IPOs work. Some of the stories are pretty cool from this. SpaceX paid all employees shares, it has resulted in 4,400 of them becoming millionaires. Lots of blue collar workers like welders included in that.
100 employees had to band together to get a group wealth manager to sort all the money out
