Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
I think it gets worse, that picture makes the ferrari look quite petite - the same height as the R8. It’s actually a foot taller - so the whole car size needs to be increased by about 30%
Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
Yes peak car has definitely passed but I think we all knew that.
The real drop off is in the more down to earth stuff like the Temerario which although fast sounds crap and I can't see why you'd want that over a Huracan Performante. Ditto the Revuelto over an SVJ..

Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
I remember people calling “the holy trinity” fat hybrids at the time
The reaction to the Luce has been a bit daft imo. It’s not like they’ve stopped making sports cars.

An absolute unit

Reminds me of that Austin Powers sketch.

I understand that the person who comissioned the boat build that we're on is now in a prison in South America and our client got a deal on in at it was 80% complete to the original specifications.GG. wrote: Tue Jun 09, 2026 10:38 am Skydome Study and Submarine Garage![]()

I wonder what sort of discount you get on cancelled order 100+ metre boats?
Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
It's probably public knowledge if you do a bit of digging, but I can't say who is the owner Nausicaa or the one that we're on. When I was over a few weeks ago Nausicaa was about to be handed over. One of the engineers was telling me that it operate silently for three weeks - hybrid drivetrain with fuel cells.GG. wrote: Tue Jun 09, 2026 10:38 am Skydome Study and Submarine Garage![]()

Oh this is the Japanese guy who was publicly looking for a girlfriend to take into space. That’s literally all I know about him because of the ‘billionaire in search of lover’ headlines at the time
How about not having a sig at all?

You could be correct.Mito Man wrote: Tue Jun 09, 2026 11:12 am Oh this is the Japanese guy who was publicly looking for a girlfriend to take into space. That’s literally all I know about him because of the ‘billionaire in search of lover’ headlines at the time![]()
Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
Mark Newson has a style - the curves and rounded corners and details on that yacht and the Luce are quite similar to his Ford 021C concept which is from 1999: https://marc-newson.com/ford-021c-concept-car/Jimexpl wrote: Tue Jun 09, 2026 10:29 am The same designer did the yacht that's just been completed alongisde the one that we're working on -

Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
the yacht is as ungainly as the Luce! The little ford is cool though!
Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
Yeah, it is quite a nice design from the end of the last century. Scaling it up and adding complication doesn't make a good yacht or Ferrari EV now though
Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
The little Ford looks like something from the Jetsons.
