I think Elise if you like that idea but the Caterham is too extreme - but having said that, my feeling is that the Elise isn't a softer alternative to the Caterham but simply a more modern way to do the same thing, which happens to be more usable at the same time. A Caterham or an Elise can easily be specced to be more compliant and civilised, or turned into something which is the most visceral thrill which is road legal.
Broadly agree although it was never the compliance that bothered me with the 7, it was the aerodynamics, buffeting and general flightiness at motorway speeds which just got really tiring.

Watch you don't mince your face a-la-Flintoff. :? (The 3-wheelers do nothing for me personally).
yeah, that's exactly what led me to add the 'at low speed' bit. It would certainly be on my mind. :(

I think that green Caterham looks the business 8-)

The ex Drivetribe guy drove one of those Morgan's up to a hill on the west coast and he thought the styling looks like they've tried to do a "Singer" on it. I think that dark purple one looks really nice, but not sure if they've quite figured out the balance of the retro v current features on it.
Cheers,

Mike.

Had a Caterham (guessing R500 due plate R500 YAH) overtake me today (dog in boot of my car #excuse) and must say the driver looked very hot/red/burnt! 🥵 Can you add air conditioning? 😁
Cheers,

Ian
