Also - top marks (boom boom!) for making me go and google Weimar Mark.

A phenomena I was aware of, but had no idea that was the source / name.

Why does it look like someone scaled up a GTA version of a Tomy Little People car?

And, as with so many other modern designs, left the styling buck too close to a three bar heater.

What a piece of utter shit.

So, another odd looking 1000+ bhp EV, but this time for £440k

What an awful looking thing. That's not a Ferrari.

The door handles look typically Ive. I think Ferrari have gone utterly wrong employing him - I can’t imagine how he persuaded the board this was a good design. Same for the interior which we’d already seen.

The more I look at it, the more I think of you told me it was jaguars new i-pace it would look ok. Otherwise it looks more like a generic Chinese fast but cheap ev. Not best part of half a mil

The i-Pace was the closest thing which came to mind, though I don't think it would look OK if Jag launched it as the ii-Pace.

Do not want.

That it still looks bloated on 23/24” F/R wheels seems quite remarkable.

Have heard the evo description of the noise maker/amplifier and I am none the wiser.

I like it for what it is

Big power evs don’t really do anything for me though. What I really want here is the Slate truck or something like it.

Has there been any actual progress with the slate. I'll swear I last looked it over a year ago, and it was at the same stage - "Give us a deposit and maybe we'll make it one day" sort of deal. IE Vapourware.

That’s why I said something like it , although apparently it’s due to go into production this summer so I guess we’ll see.

What I want from an ev is sub £25k, keeps up with traffic but it doesn’t need to beat a Veyron, focus on range and efficiency over crazy performance.

Stuff like the renault 4 and the cheaper Chinese stuff is on the right track imo
