To buy a private registration that would perfectly match a car your don't own but hope to maybe own one day??

I've always been tempted to buy up say "V8" / "V10" and my initials which I don't think could be tempting fate as they don't really relate to any specific car... This one however is an exact model and then initials. Plus its only £500.

ETA - actually just having looked they are going up in value and there are only 8 for sale in the UK so maybe it is bad luck!!

Sounds like setting a goal you would need to get the plates made up and stick one on the wall somewhere so it reminds you until you get to stick it on the car

Wouldn't be until back end of next year at the earliest anyway. By that time they'll have gone through the roof and will be completely unaffordable
