It is not a political arena, but that won't stop the shouting. They've never withdrawn before in the face of other countries with less than great records, so why now? This is in no way a diminishing of what is happening in Gaza, which is a horrible crime.

Definitely, politics doesn’t need to be in every aspect of life, it’s wrong.

I’ve got a bridge to sell anyone who thinks Eurovision isn’t political

The country boycotting eurovision while we’re still charging protestors for the same cause with terrorism seems a bit daft tbh.

You're right it is political, that's been the case for a long time, just that it shouldn't be.

If we're making it political will Palestine be pro homosexuality and same sex marriage in return?

Spain (one of the big 5) joins Netherlands, Ireland, Slovenia, and Iceland in threatening to boycott.. along with UN announcement today , there’s no way Israel should be allowed to participate

Hey Mum, just 1 point.

I used to watch his YT channel. Nice guy, but we (well, the BBC) just can't see to pick a winner for shit nowadays.

With the little I'd heard about the UK entry I was hoping less Baddiel and Skinner and more Daði og Gagnamagnið
