Apparently this year's N24 is a sellout. I imagine the Eiffel has turned orange.
Race start in about eight hours.

I'm at Adenau Forst again (complete with killer hangover). Did my first lap on this bad boy yesterday, alas I didn't time it

Thankfully the weather has improved, we got a lift in a search and rescue vehicle to camp the first night as they weren't letting cars on due to mud (not my photo)

I would post more photos but imgbb is struggling again

Seems to be doing ok still though

Doing more than ok, makes the rest of the grid look like amateurs.
How about not having a sig at all?

Grello out is a big shame. Was it an error from Estre, or rain, coolant?

Slipped on oil. Didn’t look like a particularly bad crash though, must have snapped a driveshaft or something.

Earlier on in the race the head of M-sport (I think) was being interviewed and quizzed on the exceptionally cool M3 Touring. He was asked that given the fan reaction could it come to other races in the endurance series like Bathurst. His reply was that the car was sold to a private investor before even being built, so they can't race it anywhere else or build another without permission.
On the one hand it's nice that the build was pre-funded, on the other can individuals buying everything in sight just FRO.
Rant over.

Wonder if the private investor funding was the actual reason they built it, on the condition that they didn't make another? In which case it's ok as without them there wouldn't even be one.

Saw a video of Max doing a night practice session in awful rainy conditions the other day, incredible really that he could even keep it on the track let alone be pushing
Proper monsoon conditions, loads of standing water etc
Re: Nurburgring gets a dose of 'Staph
Bit of a difference between the "You dreamed it, we built it" advertising spammed front and centre and "Individual X paid for it and you get to see it at their indulgence". Anyway, it is very cool, it'll be at FOS and a few other display events too, just not BathurstMito Man wrote: Sat May 16, 2026 10:20 pm Wonder if the private investor funding was the actual reason they built it, on the condition that they didn't make another? I heard that another car just now not only got a stop-go but instant lincence suspension for the infringing driver. Got to love the German's ruthless application of rules that make insanity like N24 actually work.

Awesome, as is the two Mercs noise to tail through a few laps.
