Big fan of that 75 cabrio. Just need to build one off one of the V8 cars and it would be ideal.

This month’s evo kicks off driving the mx5 v6 restomod. I’d seen a couple of NA conversions before and knew the NB was similar enough to make it possible, but being reminded how good they can be has definitely pushed one higher up my want list.

Is the £18k just for the engine? Recent Octane mag for the 280BHP Rocketeer "turn key" is £40k+Base car, which looks to be engine, chassis mods and some sprinking of interior upgrades.

I still have very strong wants for Esprits. There's two 350s for sale, and it's way out of budget but it has pop up lights and a spoiler...so there's that. Although also fully aware they can be ruinous to own

So close - exterior colour is perfect, but seats should be tan. I'll pass.

When you buy one Rich, go for resale red like most people do then.

It’s almost as if rarity isn’t valuable 😄

Its not a comment on value, just my own taste - good or bad!

I've always been the opposite - much preferring Fezza's in pretty much any hue other than rosso. (Yes - including the 288GTO and <gasp> F40). (In fact - the one and only factory-painted yellow 288GTO may be one of the coolest cars on the planet 8-) )

I suspect this comes from my "suspicion" around the brand, that (whilst many owners are 100% CG's, understand exactly what they are buying, and have the skills to push the abilities of the car) a disproportionately large percentage are owned by those who are just wealthy and fancy a sports car. It's the most obvious brand for them. Nothing really wrong with that - as I've got older I'm able to accept that people like cars (and other things) for different reasons - but it annoyed me more when I was younger (particularly when I realised that I was very unlikely to ever be able to afford to buy/run one  ).

In my head, this population are 99.9% likely to choose Rosso. Because Ferrari mate. Hence - rightly or wrongly - I perceive red Fezza owners as less likely to be CG's. :?

As it's the greatest supercar of all time, I shall be pleased if you pop the keys through the door and I'll give it a fair and honest appraisal.

Seems to be some indecision on the best Ferrari colour.
And a claim that the 512TR is the greatest

Only one way to find out.

@mik you know what to do.

Message DK engineering and ask them to paint the sidewall lettering white?

That's a lovely blue. Not so sure about the orange interior. Would prefer tan as per your spec Matty.

@Rich B, which colour would you have other than blue or resale red then? They do look pretty cool in white or black.
