M&S were my usual, but they've let me down recently....so recommendations are welcome.

If he paid 50% of retail Scotta, he's' still an idiot...

I assume he takes after his mother... :D

£860 for a pair of trainers that look like you’d find them in TKMaxx!?

i definitely don’t understand fashion.

Most I’ve paid for shoes was £250. But those are my FIA approved race boots.

then he's still an idiot...

My lad's the same but with sports shirts - he paid just under £400 for a limited edition Kobe Bryant LA Lakers shirt but he has many more that were well over £200.

I just don't get it but I'm a dinosaur and it's his money...

I need/want to look smart but can also wind up spending a lot of time on my feet and also having to run for stuff from time to time.
Chelsea boot default.
Most I spent was £230 on a pair of Russel and Bromley, although was disappointed with the leather wearing out and cracking.
Usually in the circa £80-£100 range and have a pair of Riekers.

In the operating theatre a lot of people wear crocs but I prefer a trainer for comfort, although lately I have started to prize waterproofing - nothing worse than an an unidentified fluid working its way into your sock. For that reason, I like an outdoor walking shoe, currently a Hi Tec Fuse Low.

Nothing yet. Well, nothing for work!

I bought some Yellow Adidas R71's, as I love my old Dragons and they're the next best thing. Nothing says crisis like a middle ages dude in yellow Adidas. And they were only £35, so bargain.

I also want some Speedcats now. I didn't before, but if everyone else is buying some, I feel like I'm missing out.

Can recommend these highly, I’ve just got myself some for around £50 less than full retail so shop around

I have a very similar pair of goretex Salmon walking shoes - I’m now all the way through the grips at the front, so will need to replace soon.

Edit : these ones in fact

Choose a pair with a Vibram sole to avoid this problem.
