I sometimes trawl through House of Fraser’s site, because they have a massive range and since they were bought by Sports Direct they do often have sales and decent deals too.

Oh wow! Big boy
Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
I spent £40 on some Kicker ankle boots maybe 15 years ago or more, they are still like new, but I barely wear shoes nowadays. Like others on here, I live in trainers, at the moment Salomon rr0 139 bought from a discount onlin retailer for £60 and I absolutely love them.
I also have two pairs of Hoggs of Fife boots, the older ones, I think, were made to a higher standard, but they are both better than Timberlands I have had.
I had Scarpa hiking boots, but the sole came away during Covid, Scarpa wanted £110 to resole so I bought new ones for £130 which were in the TTS when it was stolen. I replaced with Jack Woldskins which are far comfier, but the laces are already disintegrating.
Running wise, I have £120 Scott trails and some £70 raod shoes, no clue what make.
So probably heehaw help, sorry.

Church’s shoes were bought by Prada and increased their prices.. RM Williams Chelsea style boots are what I wear to work and can be used for more formal occasions (not sure about weddings or similar), On Cloud trainers are my cheapest shoe.. I’m not telling you feckers my most expensive !

££ wedding suit shoes (can't recall what I paid)
£220 Motorcycle road boots (Goretex Alpinestar)
£300 Sidi Adv boots
£100 BKS ankle boots

Yup. I like being tall, but my feet could have stopped growing a size or two sooner.

I’m picturing a pair of these

Or maybe something else from the same brand…
Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
Crocs may not be the cheapest now, of course: https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/brick-clog-5010203Gavster wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2026 7:19 am If we’re talking about our full stable of shoes obvs my Crocs are probably the cheapest

The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

I’m another who hardly wears shoes so never more than £100 and more likely closer to £50. Have about 5 pairs kicking around the bottom of a wardrobe.
Two pairs are very similar which resulted in this, which I only noticed on the way to Cheltenham races and didn’t have time to turn back. Think I got away with it.

Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
I once put on 2 completely different trainers - both were nike but that was about all they had in common (one black and white 80s style, one a black and grey max 90). We were going to the National History Museum at xmas time and in a rush heading out the door. i only found out when my missus spotted it as we got out of the car. The best thing was we were doing ice skating there, so i had to hand in my shoes to get skates…
… i made sure i hammed it up with the guy on the counter when i finished and went back to get my shoes!

@240PP
Although I am also wondering wtf is going on with your laces (left shoe)? Is this a communication to an alien race, or a codec that communicates your masonic rank?

Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
I can explain that. Two different shoes so I had to do the laces differently, otherwise I’d have looked stupid.
Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
An excellent point.

I need a pair of narrow shoes for an upcoming Caterham open day test drive event, £12 from Sports Direct

WTF, what if you are chased by a Bear or some kind of winged creature ?
Living life dangerously should not negate basic preparedness.
