Re: Today’s want
That seems like a great deal - obviously dependant on how much “finishing” it needs!

Yep, far too much potential to become a big job to buy on a whimRich B wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2026 6:53 pm That seems like a great deal - obviously dependant on how much “finishing” it needs!

That's lovely, and that colour really suits it. One owner too. The sort of car where you know the mechanicals are alright but need to check for scrapes from the gateposts.

It's super nice, but I understand they eat front suspension components...JonMad wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2026 1:31 pm Today, I have an urge for beige. And buttons. All the buttons

Re: Today’s want
These have terrible packaging. The electronic parking brake is very expensive, sandwiched between the subframe and body, likes to fail frequently and unless you have a lift and are quite handy it will not be worth fixing.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Today’s want
It’s an investment, right
Re: Today’s want
Looks similar to an MG Cyberster. Love the interior though.

A-ha, that doesn’t sound so helpful. Thanks for the knowledge. Are the earlier ones a safer bet? There’s an LS430 up for the same money, and a ‘93 LS400 for a chunk more but looks decent, or should I say, very of its time https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 3190822062Mito Man wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2026 5:57 pm These have terrible packaging. Not seriously looking, but something triggered me to go search as I’ve always had a background inkling for one.

Re: Today’s want
I've spent the week in Austria seeing friends, the Rechberg hillclimb and a lot of cars. Rafi's Mk2 Fire and Ice stands out though. I'm not convinced it's a Jobbo interior because surely everyone thinks it's fucking awesome!?

The film it's a homage to seems a little questionable but wtf cares right?

If they have traditional handbrakes or foot brakes they’ll be fine.JonMad wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2026 10:52 pmA-ha, that doesn’t sound so helpful. Thanks for the knowledge.
