On there are deals, definitely. I think the social media negativity about the M5 Touring has hampered sales so they are openly showing new prices with discount at over £20k off - not sure if this link will work but if it does, change the sort order to monthly price and the cheapest is £95,462 against a new list (with just £500 alloys as an option) of £116,660: https://stock.bmw.co.uk/results?f=ZmFsc ... g=ZmFsc2U=Ascender wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2026 10:13 amI do wonder if that's why they're doing more long term loaners of these just now or for extended road trips - everyone I've seen who has had one for a while seems to absolutely love it whereas a lot of the less positive reviews were from people who had them for shorter periods of time.Jobbo wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2026 7:55 pm Watched it already. Harry shares my view of it - the hybrid stuff is what makes it such a good everyday car. But it feels like he hasn’t got under its skin yet. I’ve done nearly 1100 miles so far and it’s great on the motorway but it’s also got some dynamic magic which makes you want to drive it enthusiastically.
I have given it full throttle now, but only very briefly and at relatively low revs. I don’t think I’ll ever wish for more power.
Are there any finance contributions from Sytner on these at the moment or no deals to be had? BMW seem to go from one extreme to the other with finance.
I think that's also the reason for the long term loaners; they want a bit better social media profile for it. Joe Achilles has probably hindered that though with his lukewarm final report after 6 months.
