That’s a fairly terrifying figure, until you realise it’s more like 10% of US citizens (with another 9% claiming to be unsure).
The number of posts I see about it online, I would have put the figure far higher!

Lots of people saying why aren’t they dead after travelling at 30,000 mph. Lots asking why the sea wasn’t boiling like a cauldron when they landed if it got so hot.

Instead of wanting to learn how things work people just think everything they don’t understand is fake / a conspiracy.
