What, wouldn't you rather see the MX5 which has only ever been on an OV9 curry meet? Yes, I'm bringing the big purple one.

I do like the MX and I could see that it would be a valid vehicle selection for such an outing, but yeah, I need to see big purple in the metal. :)

It's the official OV9 purple car meet. Please no one park next to Jobbo, so we can park next to each other!

Can't you coax @MikeHunt along in his Thunder Night chariot? (I can't remember where he is based?) :?

I believe in the day, Duncs will be arriving early to dress head to toe in high vis, and will be providing on site marshalling services

They usually just say hello and then tell you to follow the one way system and park where you like. If you have something they like the look of and/or fits well next to a car parked near the front (with a free adjacent space) they might suggest you park there but in that event I'm sure you can say you'd rather park further in.

There's usually plenty of space on the gravel area, but people tend to park in loads of space and break up the available space for groups. If it's fairly busy they'll open up the field at the back where we could probably all park together. All depends on timing, first to arrive can probably see whether we can all get space together (or I have seen some organised meets just all park together in the back field even when quiet, may or may not have contacted them beforehand).

What time are you meeting up??

It’s not a million miles from here so I might pop along and stalk you all from the shadows, taking notes for my files… 😂

I'm always up for an early (well, they open at 9am, so any time from then onwards) start for this kind of thing, at least gives a chance to have a nice clear run out to the meet.

I'll aim to be there when C&M open - I'm sure we will hang around there a while. Bit more hospitable than a windy car park on the Ridgeway.
