The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

This was really interesting. Wargame exercise pitched 6000 NATO troops against a 300 person Ukrainian drone unit. The Ukrainians won, easily.

To be fair, it was an exercise to establish how a conventional NATO unit would perform in the modern Drone era, but fascinating to see how things have moved on in just the past few years.

Ukraine are massively reducing sending troops abroad for training for this reason. Apparently NATO training methods are too dated and don’t reflect current warfare. I guess it’s no real surprise though.
How about not having a sig at all?

Yeah, it's weird seeing people frame it as some sort of break up between Ukraine and NATO, whereas in reality, Ukraine are just ahead of the curve due to being on the (literal) bleeding edge of a conflict using the absolute latest tech, en masse.

Interesting summary of the stalemate in Ukraine in today's Observer newsletter, as Russia is struggling to get through Ukraine's wall of drones defence, while also sending long-range drones up to 500km into Russian territory, attacking a site in Moscow.

It's like the situation has now been reversed thanks to the leaps Ukraine has made in drone tech. The longer the war goes on, the more it favours Ukraine. Ukraine's killing Russian men and materiel faster than it can be replaced. The more it hits targets inside Russia, the more the Russian general public are going to realise they're not winning and they're being lied to.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

I heard a rumour that Putin is spending the majority of his time hiding in bunkers for fear of assassination, I so want this to be true.

Apparently worried more about an inside job, rather than Ukranian interference. He's increasingly restricting his inner circles access to phones, internet and other resources.

Question is whether it would make any difference anyway. Russian economy is fucked when the war ends.
