The E-class is based on the previous generation platform, this 5-series was an entirely new platform for both ICE and EV so it’s not surprising it’s less compromised. The batteries arent just under the boot floor I think.
Whilst true, the E53 does have a bigger battery. It's 28kwh compared to 18kwh in the M5.

Silverstone interior is right - I was intrigued by the lagoon interior but there were no cars in the system with it and I had to choose from the dealer’s stock. Still 22 cars I think.

No, I wasn’t sure about it anyway but someone else in our village already has one in blue so that was a no. It’s an Individual colour to make guessing a bit harder.

So I’ll give you a clue: the exterior colour has the same name as an Audi colour but it’s not the same colour.

No, no and no. My clue is probably a bit mean. But as soon as I saw they had one in this colour I said yes, that’s the one.

I hadn’t appreciated how many names are shared 😄 Not one of those anyway.

Over £24,000 off list price. Happy with that.
I need to do better at reading comprehension as I didn't realise you were after the touring, hence my RS4 confusion....alas I won't take back my comments about the interior ;) but +2 on the score for being a Touring.

Oh, and it's gotta be Techno-Violet, surely?!?

Close enough - it’s Daytona Violet. E34 M5 vibes.
