I don't know actually - not sure if HarryM has ever mentioned that (or whether he knows which previous owner fitted it).

Think that used to happen a lot, the Batmobile bmw csl came with the wrong in the boot I believe

Probably the reason why even now if you buy a sports car the dealer will sell and fit the manufacturer approved upgrade parts like the fins, bodywork and noisier exhausts?
How about not having a sig at all?

Exactly. All of those have a measurable performance/function impact, but we generally accept this as they look all of the epics.
