Yeah, painful watch. Very poor by England, but Ireland played well
Cheers,

Well I wasn’t expecting that

Darcy Graham steal was marvellous, but what a crazy error in an International game - without that Wales would have romped home.

Watched the England game with three Irishmen. It wasn't enjoyable.

I don't know what's happened to England, but we seen incapable of a lot of basic stuff at the moment. At least we go to Paris without any hopes to have dashed.

We will of course endeavour to assist our Scottish and Irish brethren if we can. Would love it if the Scottish did over the French at Murrayfield.

Missed the second half as was driving. But caught some highlights - that was such an incredibly daft thing to have seen. Only the Welsh...

Interesting - I didn't notice this at the time.

You don't get the rub of the green when you've lost as many games in succession as Wales have. There was also a penalty advantage to us when Tomos Williams got penalised for a 'croc roll' which on another day would have gone back to our penalty rather than for Scotland.

A bit disappointing but much improved over the campaign.

From the BBC highlights page, pretty much as I said above :(

"Wales? Brilliant but beaten, losers on the day but with so much to build on - and a little bit to complain about, too. If that Turner try ended up being the decisive moment in the game there was another moment, on 64 minutes, that could have filled that slot.

Wales were ahead 23-19 at the time. Into the Scotland 22 they went and won a penalty. They could have backheeled it over, had it stood, which it didn't. The TMO got involved and a call was made against Tomos Williams for a croc roll on Rory Darge that didn't look like a croc roll.

Penalty reversed. A shot for 26-19 gone. Turner drove over soon after and that was that."

That was a brilliant moment. His face when he stepped inside and realised he was clear

Was a great game. Not too much kicking, lots of hits. Wales look like a different side from the team in the 1st game.

Me and the wife are in Dublin for the game, win or lose you're going to have a great time. 😂

Cracking weekend of rugby, can't wait for super Saturday next week. Wales are on the brink of getting over the line 😎

Oddly quiet in here! Caught up with the games this morning, wow, Scotland were fantastic. For 60mins or so it was about the most complete performance I can remember against a top side. Was there even one handling error?

Shame Scotland couldn't stop the losing bonus point.

England on the other hand, so poor. Not much more to say.

Good summary of what each nation needs on Saturday to win...

The entire nation of Scotland on Satuday evening after beating Ireland...

 Or indeed maybe 95% of the nation of Ireland if they beat Scotland.

I really don't mind who wins it as long as it's not France. Unfortunately all indications are that England will get resoundingly smashed.

95% ?? You're being generous - it's probably closer to 99%.

I myself am in the 1% so wont' have an issue cheering for England. however, as you say, I think it wont matter to us as Scotland will beat Ireland but France will beat England

You might be right about 99%... My sample size is small and mostly features people that have obtained their career (and in some cases spouse) from England, so their views may be softer than most!

I actually think Ireland will win tomorrow, but it won't help them. Will be nice to have a few non-English (albeit reluctantly) rooting for England at least. :)

True - some of us have become institutionalised

However I have never nor will ever drink the mucky ditch/dish (delete as appropriate) water that is Ale 🤮
