Trump
Re: Trump
Yes, better to ask the Mullah to stop. They really upped their game recently and the number of their own people dead is guessed at 36500.
The people affected are out in their hundreds of thousands anll over the world and absolutely joyous about this. Their lives shouldn't be sacrificed just so we don't mess with the status quo. Was anyone helping them ?
Dave!

Was it stable before ?ZedLeg wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 8:51 am How is destabilising the country then fucking off any better?
Murderous oppressive regime which the whole country is dancing about hopefully being over ?
I'll leave it there, I think this is a good thing for the people of Iran and hope it's over as quickly as is possible.

Re: Trump
I know this isn't the thread for it, but they (Greens, Corbyn, etc) want to dismantle our entire relationship with the USA. Expel American forces from our bases, withdraw from NATO, reduce trade, etc. Seriously!?
What is the real motive here? I think we know - it's what their voters want. Hence the rhetoric switch from staunch environmentalism to pro-immigration policies and anti-USA positions. They've been surging as a result.
I don't disagree with everything they say, but the majority of it is either fantasy or pure recklessness.
They're a huge threat to our foreign policy, and that's before we've even started domestically.

Re: Trump
I'm not expecting the Muslim population to come out in a show of support for Farage, but it's more pointing out that Greens have largely repositioned themselves and are now engaging in the culture war politics.ZedLeg wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 10:48 am I can’t imagine why the muslim population of the UK doesn’t want to vote for the parties calling them rapists and loudly proclaiming they shouldn’t be here.
Total mystery.
I know they all do it. But the Greens have had quite a sharp diversion into the stance they have now, which wouldn't necessarily be an issue if their policies weren't so alarming.

Bang on. And the lightweights in the media won't call it out for what it is. If the greens get no.10 we are in serious trouble.Alex88 wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 10:37 am I know this isn't the thread for it, but they (Greens, Corbyn, etc) want to dismantle our entire relationship with the USA. Re: Trump
So is everyone else, the Greens have to respond to the ridiculous shit the other parties are saying.
The greens can’t win though, they either focus on the environment and are written off as an irrelevance or become a bigger party and get accused of cynically arguing against the cynical actions of the government for votes.
Can you imagine, a political party trying to appeal to voters? Not in this day and age.
