One of the drivers had a very close look at one of these when correcting a slide went wrong, splitter and a tyre off the rim but thankfully not too much damage.

Did Andy have any kind of conversation regarding risk over there? At North Weald, the conversation about risk is that it's practically impossible to hit anything (which it was, to be fair - it's an airfield after all) - your only real risk being ripping off a splitter by clipping a cone.

Edit - also, no pics from the day?

He did point out the scars in the landscape from numerous drift days on the site, luckily the damage wasnt too bad and the chap got home in one piece.

I didnt take any photos, here are some from the group chat.

TBH I've lost track of who else is central; other than who Simon's mentioned. Feel like everyones gone north of the wall these days....
I think I went past you ( quite slowly I hasten to add ) on the M54 when you had your 4C - I was in the 325ti - just cruising

I suspect it was! You tagged me on Twitter at the time I think 8-) If it was when I had the OEM exhaust, I used to keep it quite slow to save my ears and sanity.

Thinking of booking another one of these, I’d have preferred Thruxton with the skid pan, but there aren’t any weekend dates coming up.

For the Midlands guys, Stafford still has Sundays 19th April, 28th June, and 26th July, anyone else interested?

Potentially I'd be interested in the Jun/Jul ones.

What's the story with the new locations? They're both about the same distance from me. Either one better than the other?

no idea, but stafford is too far for me. They’re more expensive too! (£320 with SELOC discount).

Staffs is your standard driver training he used to do at North Weald. I believe Thruxtonb is more targeted at the Skid pan.

Is he not doing the activity days any more? Can't see any.

Watched a few vids now, Thruxton does look decent. Can't make a weekday work @MikeHunt? There's two spaces left on the one Rich is going to...
