I like the 747. Need to source some stickers for it as my wife accidentally threw them away. Compliments the Concorde well as long as you don’t get twitchy eyed over scales

I did a Washington flight many years ago where they flew the last Shuttle to its resting place.. they were letting veterans go out to look around it so I got our driver to go past it.. crazy looking thing, but totally cool 😎
Cheers,

i wondered who bought big lego sets at the airport, i mean, what do you do with them when you have all your other luggage? and do they go in the hold?
They deliver duty free to the aircraft to be collected at the door when you board, so maybe that.. and it goes wherever I say it does! 😁
Same for people who buy luggage sets on duty free - i never understood that, surely they already have suitcases if they’re airside at an airport!!

I’d guess that’s because we limit weight per bag, so if you have too much sh1t, buy a new bag (and we’ll charge you for it! 🤑 )

But they have whole shops selling expensive luggage air side. Surely people aren’t going to buy them, then have to pay to put them on the flight, then have to take them with their already checked in luggage?!

#rich people problems i clearly don’t understand

There used to be a Swiss Army knife shop in the departure lounge at Geneva. I guess whatever you buy they mail it to you?

I bought bits to make a Brickheadz style Stay Puft marshmallow man. Turned out great.

Project Hail Mary set could be very tempting although depends if the movie is a decent adaptation or not.

Seen early shots on the Model T too, it looks cool but I'll wait and see what price it commands. Getting a little tired of this "adult set" pricing.

I've seen a leak of the Model T and that's one I'll certainly be getting. It reminds me of the 1970s Hobby Sets: https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Hobby-Set - which I saw at friends' houses but never had myself. Oh the thrill of finding a big spoked wheel in someone's box of Lego back then, or a white technic axle.

Very unsubstantiated but I saw a reel earlier claiming there's a Knight Rider Ideas set possibly coming in August. That could be cool..
