Time to buy Jobbo!
Dogecoin etc
Re: Dogecoin etc
I've only got XRP in Crypto and it's been pretty stagnant.
Currently about to break £10 a day in dividends though which I'm chuffed to bits about.
Dave!

I'm buying, this is how to make money in crypto. When everyone is crying you buy.
Re: Dogecoin etc
Keep HODLing Broccers. I can't see any risks there.Broccers wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 6:22 pm I'm buying, this is how to make money in crypto. When everyone is crying you buy.

Re: Dogecoin etc
I assume you’re filling your boots Broccers, with Bitcoin down another 6% today and Ethereum down 9%. I’m sure being tainted by association with Epstein will go away quickly…

Re: Dogecoin etc
You’re aware of prices sliding significantly.
You’re presumably not aware of how much involvement Epstein had in Bitcoin. Let me provide a quote:
“75 percent of bitcoins code comes directly from [Epstein’s] investments,” a crypto account called Crypto Bitlord posted. “We’ve basically funded an elite global pedophile ring since 2015. I feel sick.”

Re: Dogecoin etc
Like anyone who buys bitcoin gives a single fuck about ethics.
Re: Dogecoin etc
If people are bringing ethics into things then any investment and purchases need to be stopped and you chaps go live in a field

Re: Dogecoin etc
There are various ethical and sustainable ETFs and my broker has a whole page with individual stocks that meet the criteria. It’s all a load of horseshit though. DuPont features in many of them and has 6/10 social, environmental and ethical score
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Dogecoin etc
Ethical investments. Well each to their own, I focus on making money.
Re: Dogecoin etc
Absolutely - like Broccers, they're in it for themselves.Rich B wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:00 am Like anyone who buys bitcoin gives a single fuck about ethics.
But when the whole edifice is supported by, and supporting, Epstein's wealth and activities there are solid commercial reasons why it might not be a good investment. Which may explain the few percent further slide today. Broccers is doubtless buying.

You don’t consider ethics at all? in any investments?!V8Granite wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:45 am If people are bringing ethics into things then any investment and purchases need to be stopped and you chaps go live in a field

If someone came to you with a solid investment plan in a company you knew used sweatshops using child slaves (A few kids die here and there, but great returns!) you’d be ok with that?
Re: Dogecoin etc
RR shares did well as there was a risk of war.
Chinese sweatshops are all over, iPhone factory with suicide nets.
Lithium iron batteries in most things we own.
I saw a load of dead locals killed due to arsenic lakes used in the mining of gold.
Bangladesh horrific conditions making most of the premier leagues football kits and Wrangler jeans.
I won't actively buy shares in Isis but putting ethics in doesn't leave you with much left.

Re: Dogecoin etc
These losers are trying to wind us up. Jobbo sold his bank shares at less than 50 percent where they are now. I'll not take any advice from these people.V8Granite wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 6:33 pm RR shares did well as there was a risk of war.

Re: Dogecoin etc
Thinking about it I refuse to buy British American Tobacco but it's the only one I can remember just saying no to despite it being a good bet for long term stability.Rich B wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 4:09 pmYou don’t consider ethics at all? in any investments?!V8Granite wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:45 am If people are bringing ethics into things then any investment and purchases need to be stopped and you chaps go live in a field

Re: Dogecoin etc
I only had a couple of grand of LLOY and I sold at 100% profit, a lot higher than 57p or whatever you’re suggesting. My substantive investments are in funds. I don’t have a fear of losing it all because of some paedo revelations. Sleep well tonight.Broccers wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 6:41 pm

2. Wound man up.
Mission completed
Re: Dogecoin etc
I know how much I bought and sold them for. Checking the current share price is trivially easy.
You’re triggered and worried. You haven’t even said that you’re buying
