Man, that's sad. Not long finished watching Schitts Creek, she was brilliant in it.

I mentioned in another thread how she got her start with John Candy and others. Her eulogy at his funeral was lovely.

I think she was a far better actor than perhaps her career would suggest.

Rest in Peace

That’s a really sad one for me.

So many iconic characters from my childhood and one of my favourites as an adult in Schitt’s Creek.

In the nicest possible way Dinny I think that attitude is indicative of the way that comedy is viewed as culturally lesser than drama.

I’d bet she mostly had the career she wanted.

Couldn’t agree more Zed 👍🏻

She was a comic, true and true and cut her teeth in the hardest of environments - the ensemble comedy troupe, performing sketches live in stage. That is not for the faint of heart.

I guess what I mean is I’d have loved to have seen her play more range, more often but that’s more a personal wish, rather than a comment on her skill,

RIP. Schitts Creek is so good, she had a nice part in The Last of Us also.

Just finished the final episode of schitts creek yesterday. She was brilliant, but tbf I don’t think there’s an actor in there that didn’t nail their performance
