In response to the OP, how about a Russell Hobbs Velocity? It does 0-100 in 38 seconds, making it the fastest boiling kettle on the market.
"Our Fastest 2.4kW Kettle"
I accept the challenge for a race against my 3kW kettle......
The claim of 38 seconds is on the UK website, and appears to pertain to a no-longer-available 3.1kw model.
Their European website appears to reduce this claim to 47 seconds for the existing 2.4kw model.
So....
On a sample of 1-run, my 3kw Bish-bash-bosch heated 250ml (my measuring jug only has 25ml increments) from a measured 8.2 DegC to boiling in 41.7 seconds.
I did the same and it boiled for a solid 5+ seconds, I timed until it switched off. So depending on the criteria I’d be closer to 50 seconds if it was to boiling point.

Get pets then you don't need a smart kettle. Get up, put kettle on and then let dog out. Feed cats, let dog back in. Kettle boiled!
I have a cat, if the kettle was already hot the tea could be brewing while I feed him instead of boiling, then having to wait for the brew stage after.
I was just curious if anyone had used a kettle you could set a schedule on, without being overly complicated for normal everyday use. I’d seen random ones on Amazon, but I’d prefer something an actual real person had tried.
Looks like Mitos one would be good, but currently unavailable
